Thanks to SolLight the iPhone has a new spiffy gadget to help with the terrible battery life some of us are plagued with. I normally can’t go more than a day or so without charging. The SOLiCharge is capable of providing up to a 50% charge using its internal battery. The battery of the SOLiCharge can be charged via solar energy, or plugged in using any USB compatible chargers. At $39.95 this isn’t a bad little gadget that may help you out during those important calls or internet sessions that always tend to get rudely interrupted by that little red battery icon.

What’s that mean, iPhone2,1? It indicates the next generation of iPhones will soon be upon us! The current iPhone identification scheme is as follows;

iPhone1,1 = iPhone 1 (4gb,8gb) Edge
iPhone1,2 = iPhone 2 (8gb,16gb) 3G

There’s been talk for weeks now about hints inside Apple’s firmware which would indicate they are in the process of making the next generation iPhone. As you can see in the screenshot of Apple clearly indicates iPhone2,1 at the very top. Apple has been hard at work with their new team of ARM processor designers, and speculation is leading to multi-core CPUs and GPUs in the next iPhone. With June being the normal release date, we’ll soon find out what’s in store for us and the next gen iPhone.

I know it’s been awhile, ugh I’m sorry! As most of you may know, our economy isn’t doing so hot .I’ve been busy trying to keep my job and freelance situation from unraveling but my efforts seem to be futile under our struggling economy. I was a contracted freelancer for a moderately sized SEO firm which has cut back my hours. I do my own freelance on the side, but this firm had taken up the majority of my time. Now that I’ll be at the company less, I plan on devoting some more time online. With that being said, I’d like to announce my next big update. I’ve been working hard these past few weeks on new wallpapers. I have about 5000-7000 new wallpapers waiting to go online. I’m performing the last edits and folder organization needed before I go ahead with the big upload. I’ll keep you posted on my progress; and ohh all the new iPhone news I haven’t covered in weeks, that’ll be up soon as well!

$99 iPhone

While looking around for some good deals, I came across this little gem. I noticed a few sites talking about $99 refurbished iPhones, so I had to check it out for myself and see what it was all about. Turns out Apple is now offering the 8gb iPhone for $99 till December 31st. I was thinking about picking one up I’m not a fan of the 90 day limited warranty the refurbished phones are given. If warranties mean little to you, then this is your chance to pick up a cheap iPhone!

First let me apologize for not only missing out 2000 wallpaper mark but having a site that wasn’t living to its fullest potential. I’ve been hard at work making some important and necessary changes I’ve been meaning to make for a few weeks.

Most important change, was fixing our logo! I missed spelled resource; it was spelled resouce for some time. Yes that’s very embarrassing I know. We made some necessary style changes as well, including new transparent pngs and a new sexy background. We’ve also added a random wallpaper rotator as well. It displays 10 wallpapers at random, from randomly selected categories. Also made some changes to how our tag cloud works. Lastly, added the word “beta

You asked; we deliver! We’re at 1635 wallpapers, and still have another 2 or 3 updates left today. We just put 223 new car wallpapers up, and I’m a pretty big fan of this update. We got some Rx-7s, RX-8s, Mustangs, Hondas, BMWs, Mercedes, Subarus and more! Got some great super car and a few pretty ladies even snuck into a few of them. If you love cars, this is a must for you!
